The Archive
The work plates below are pieces this Tampere studio drew and did, photographed here in the room they were done in. The archive only takes the studio’s own work — no borrowed imagery, no illustration standing in for a result.

How the archive is chosen
How the archive is kept
The archive only ever takes pieces the studio did. Where a healed shot exists it is preferred over the day-of shot, because healing is where bad technique becomes visible and good technique disappears into the skin.
Photography is taken in the studio under consistent light, so comparisons between pieces mean something. Where a client has asked not to be identified, the work is shown without placement, face or name.
Design references, flash sheets and pieces drawn but never booked stay out of the archive. Nothing that did not happen on a body in this room is presented as if it did.
Checklist
When you compare studios, these are the things that actually predict how your piece will age.
- 01Line quality at the end of a long session, not just the start
- 02Healed saturation — colour and blackweight six weeks on
- 03Consistency across body types and skin tones, not one perfect limb
- 04Compositions that follow the muscle and movement of the placement
- 05Small work that still reads from two metres away
Next step
Point at a piece and the studio will tell you honestly what the same approach would look like on your placement.
Requests are reviewed and confirmed by the studio, not by the form.
